Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of equal42 (equal42.com and the equal42 platform), operated by equal42 AB, Stockholm, Sweden. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The service

equal42 helps NGOs and civil-society organisations find grants, draft proposals, and report to donors, using AI to accelerate work that would otherwise be manual. equal42 is currently in early access — features, availability, and pricing may change as the product develops.

Who can use equal42

equal42 is built for registered nonprofits, NGOs, foundations, and mission-driven civil-society organisations. You must be authorised to act on behalf of your organisation to create an account.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload — reports, proposals, org profile information. By uploading it, you give equal42 permission to process it (including via our AI sub-processors) solely to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to share any documents you upload, including that you've handled any personal data in them appropriately.

AI-generated output

Grant matches, rationales, and drafted proposals are generated by AI and are starting points, not guarantees. Always review AI-generated content before submitting it to a funder — equal42 does not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or that it will result in funding.

Acceptable use

Don't use equal42 to upload content you don't have rights to, to attempt to access other organisations' data, or to misuse the platform in a way that disrupts the service for others.

Fees

equal42 is free during early access for participating organisations. Any future paid tiers will be communicated in advance, and we won't start charging you without notice and your agreement. See pricing for the current preliminary plan.

Termination

You can stop using equal42 and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

equal42 is provided “as is” during early access, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, equal42 AB's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish or EU law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above when we do, and let active organisations know of material changes.
